INSTITUTO TECNOLOGICO DEL EMBALAJE, TRANSPORTE Y LOGISTICA
ITENE coordinates TEX4GREEN and leads the Safe and Sustainable by Design work. The team integrates safety, environmental sustainability, and circularity into the development of all bio based textile chemicals.
VERTORO BV
Vertoro supplies the lignin used to create TEX4GREEN’s bio based coatings, dyes and surfactants. The team provides technical guidance to ensure these lignin fractions perform reliably in formulation and scale up.
UNIVERSITEIT MAASTRICHT
Maastricht University’s role is to develop sustainable routes to make surfactants based on lignin. The basic properties of the surfactants will be determined. The selected biosurfactants will be exchanged with other project partners for textile application tests, and a feedback loop will be built to improve the biosurfactants.
UNIVERSIDAD DE CASTILLA – LA MANCHA
UCLM develops bio based dyes, pigments, and fixing agents, with a focus on algae derived colorants. The team optimizes extraction and application, so these colorants perform well on natural and synthetic fibers.
HOLIFERM LIMITED
Holiferm supplies the bio based sophorolipid surfactants used in TEX4GREEN’s wet processing work. The team supports testing to ensure these surfactants meet SSbD criteria and perform well in industrial textile applications.
PARTICULA GROUP DRUSTVO S OGRANICENOM ODGOVORNOSCU ZA ISTRAZIVANJE RAZVOJ I PROIZVODNJU
Particula supplies the project’s natural pigment feedstocks. They cultivate microalgae and process plant biomass to provide renewable pigments for TEX4GREEN’s dye formulations.
POLYTEKS TEKSTIL SANAYI ARASTIRMA VE EGITIM AS
Polyteks contributes to its expertise in polyester yarn production and carries out algae based package dyeing trials. They supply both yarn and fabric forms and help develop sustainable dyeing processes.
LINIFICIO E CANAPIFICIO NAZIONALE SRL SOCIETA’ BENEFIT
Linificio tests TEX4GREEN’s biosurfactants and dyes in real textile processes. They apply them in post dye washing and acid scouring to replace harmful chemicals and check performance under mill conditions.
EXT TECHNOLOGY TECNOTESSILE SOCIETA NAZIONALE DI RICERCA R L
NTT adapts TEX4GREEN’s lignin based hydrophobic coatings for textile use, ensuring they apply smoothly and cure correctly. They also verify that the coatings deliver reliable performance on finished fabrics.
CENTRE SCIENTIFIQUE ET TECHNIQUE DE L INDUSTRIE TEXTILE BELGE
Centexbel selects bio based fixing agents such as chitosan and tannins. They test how effectively these help natural dyes bond to fibres. They ensure the fixing agents remain biodegradable and metal free.
MEKREO ENGINEERING SOCIEDAD LIMITADA
Mekreo’s co-founder, Elena, oversees strategic development and patent aligned scale up. Miguel, their other co-founder, manages process engineering, technical validation, and pilot to industrial implementation.
FINIPUR NV
Finipur carries out the pilot and industrial finishing trials for TEX4GREEN’s functional coatings. They evaluate performance in washing, scouring, and finishing steps on industrial equipment. They check compatibility with existing recipes and ensure the final fabric quality is maintained.
DECATHLON PRODUZIONE ITALIA SRL
Decathlon’s role is to validate bio based coatings, surfactants, and dyes on real sportswear production lines. The team tests PFAS free coatings, SSbD compliant surfactants and algae derived dyes on footwear and seamless garment prototypes. Their goal is to reach TRL 7 by proving these solutions meet Decathlon’s quality and performance standards.
MARZOTTO LAB S.R.L.
Marzotto helps validate TEX4GREEN’s biosurfactants in real textile processes. They check color performance, process efficiency and compatibility with industrial workflows.
DYNAMIC & SECURITY COMPUTATIONS SL
Analisis builds the digital twin building blocks for TEX4GREEN’s value chains. They extend the digital twin to enable SSbD assessment.
CORMATEX SRL-MACCHINARIO TESSILE EIMPIANTI
Cormatex will use its Airlay Lap Formair technology to turn shredded fibers and coated textile waste into new nonwoven products at TRL 6–7. The company tests whether TEX4GREEN’s bio based coatings remain compatible with mechanical recycling.
HOCHSCHULE FUR ANGEWANDTE WISSENSCHAFTEN HAMBURG
HAW Hamburg leads TEX4GREEN’s dissemination, exploitation and communication work. They prepare the project’s communication plans and coordinate all final outreach activities.
